Geared up for extensive DJ use, this blazing piece of retro-laced synth pop, EBM and techno interlaced comes in two versions: the original and the club mix. A pure 80s-infused pop number leaning towards Pet Shop Boys or Depeche Mode at their most gleeful and funky, the original mix reels off a nostalgic fusion of dazzling machine glimmer, ingenuous tune-making, textured vocals and playful Andean pipes all played from a vintage VHS flick.

Trading the original’s shimmering synth effervescence for a brooding post-industrial atmosphere and a steel-clad punch, the club version has us zoning out to a menacing floor scenario, all in thunderous echoes and rogue basswaves from the deep, rolling and crashing before eventually hatching into a further euphoric, psychedelic pop-friendly conclusion.
