About a year on since his last incursion on the label, Pavel Petrov returns to Stil vor Talent with a new two-tracker, ‘Divine’.

Championing a sound both exhilaratingly fun and genre-busting, Petrov serves up a pair of laser-guided floor crushers: tapping both in the dream pop seam when it comes to those FX-coated vocals whilst letting the hounds of EBM loose rhythm-wise.

Boasting jagged curves, heavily-processed textures and straight out bouncy elasticity, ‘Divine’ is a low-slung kind of roller, primed for extensive use at peak time or across the more subtly nuanced layers of pre-after boogie down. Either way an understated piece of delectable grooviness and playful funk rolled into a rogue wave-ish heater of a track.

More straightforward, ‘Way Too High’ is a pure bass-fuelled comber set to unfurl upon the dance floors with no-holds-barred punch and infectious swagger. Keeping in line with Petrov’s trademark mix of ebullient in-your-face-ness and cross-pollinated rhythmic mischief, here comes a massive deluge of imparable breaks and memorable drops, bound to have ravers quivering in XTC.
